Vidalia Onion Classic Casserole

4 largeVidalia onions, thickly sliced (about 1/2")
1/2 cupmargarine
2/3 cupchicken broth
1/3 cupsherry
2 T.flour
1 1/2 cupssoft bread crumbs
1/2 cupsharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 T.Parmesan cheese, grated
Saute onions in margarine until they are translucent. Add chicken broth, sherry and flour. When slightly thickened, transfer to a medium casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs and cheeses. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
