Carrot Cake

2 cupsflour
2 cupssugar
1 tsp.baking soda
1 tsp.cinnamon
1 tsp.salt
1 1/4 cupsvegetable oil
4eggs
3 cupsgrated carrots
ICING:
1 stickmargarine
1- 8 oz. pkg.cream cheese
1 boxpowdered sugar
1 cupnuts, chopped
2 tsp.vanilla
Sift together dry ingredients. Add oil, eggs and carrots. Bake 45 minutes in 350 oven or until toothpick inserted in center is clean. Half recipe makes a loaf cake. Otherwise, can be made as a layer cake. Ice when totally cool. Refrigerate after frosting.
