1 lb. | chicken livers | 6 | hard boiled eggs | 1 | large onions | 4 Tbs. | melted schmaltz |
| Cook livers in salted water. Grind all ingredients. Add salt & about 4 Tblsp. melted schmaltz...Mix together...a little more fat may be added.
Schmaltz:
Cut up chicken fat. Put in pot on low flame until fat pieces are crisp. Slice a small onion into fat when almost done if desired. Add a little salt to fat while cooking. Strain into container. |
