5 cups | blackberries, washed | 1 cup | sugar | | water | 1 single | pie crust |
| Put blackberries and sugar in saucepan, then add water to cover. Heat until the water starts to boil then drop in pieces of pie crust (cut about 1X2 inches) and continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes, until berries are cooked and "dumplings" are done. Cool and serve. |
